poocherkaur asked:

Hi, I am 18 years old and my acne has finally pretty much gone away. But i do have some scars left, and my skin isnt as soft as I want it to be. I have heard about obagi and wondered if it would work for me. Do i have to use it with tretinoin cream? How long do i have to use it for? Are there just a few products i can use for scarring rather than the whole costly kit? Am I too young to even use it? Do the results last even if you stop using the products? Any help would be appreciated.

Epoxy Floor Paint

Trinity.services003 asked:

Obagi Product Skin Care system is currently the hottest new dermatological product available. The full skin care system, which is formulated for different age groups and problems, is designed to completely rejuvenate the skin - revealing fresher, brighter and clearer skin.

It’s designed for both young women battling acne and older women battling the signs of aging. However, does it work? To learn more and for a concise review of the system, keep reading.

Cost

The Obagi skin care collection doesn’t come cheap, nor is the prescription-only product covered by most drug plans. Expect to pay about $300 initially for the first six-week system and then about $1200 a year for ongoing maintenance. Because of the cost, many patients opt instead to do in-office treatments.

Quality of the Product

The Obagi skin care system is an FDA-approved prescription product. Unlike over the counter creams and potions, it must meet particular quality standards. The product has undergone thorough testing and contains a minimum amount of high-grade prescription ingredients.

However, because Obagi is considered a drug and contains such a high concentration of acids and other potent products, it can be dangerous for some skin types. It’s important to consult a physician before using it.

Results

When the product is applied correctly and with care, Obagi product skin care systems are effective. However, they’re only effective if you maintain use of the product. Once you stop using the system, you will begin to lose its prior benefit.

Because of the cost and the fact that the results obtained from using Obagi skin care products aren’t necessarily long term, many patients opt for surgical or in-office treatments like chemical or laser peels.

No-Prescription Obagi

Obagi’s skin care systems are available in the United States by prescription only. There are certain online retailers that will sell the system without a prescription, but consumers need to be wary.

Buying Obagi skin care products without a prescription is not only dangerous, but it’s also illegal. In addition, the market is flooded with fakes and counterfeits, which is a serious risk when purchasing from anyone other than a licensed pharmacy.

Conclusion on Obagi Skin Care

Overall, Obagi is a quality product that produces great results. But, those results don’t last and may not be worth the significant yearly expense.

Instead, why not try a laser skin rejuvenation or a year of spa facials? When it comes to skin care, Obagi product skin care systems might be at the bottom of the priority list.

Did you find this article useful? For more useful tips and hints, points to ponder and keep in mind, techniques, and insights pertaining to Internet Business, do please browse for more information at our websites.

http://www.adsence-dollar-factory.com

http://www.100earningtips.com

Goodman Gas Furnace

Marilynn Syrett asked:

Skin problems often tend to occur over and over again around the same area of your face. This is primarily because they are the ‘problem areas’ of your face and in order to take charge of the situation, you would need to follow an effective skin care regimen.

Here are some problem areas and effective skin care tips.

Forehead

The forehead is generally prone to dehydration. Therefore fine lines are a common occurrence. In addition, many people tend to breakout along the hairline and across the forehead as well.

Skin Care:

In order to prevent this, make sure you drink lots of water throughout the day in order to prevent the fine lines caused by dehydration.

Also, you may consider using hydrating skin products that help to hydrate the skin intensely and eliminate fine lines.

Avoid cosmetics and shampoos that contain comedogenic ingredients like mineral oil, artificial fragrances, Isopropyl Mysirtate and S.D. Alcohol. These ingredients irritate the skin and lead to breakouts along the hairline.

Yet another important thing that you should do is cleanse your skin regularly to ensure that your skin is free of all impurities and make up residues.

Between Eyebrows

The appearance of vertical lines is a common concern in the area between your eyebrows. The reason being that people tend to frown a lot more in that area. Moreover, since women regularly tweeze or thread their eyebrows, this region becomes very prone to redness and flakiness.

Skin Care:

While threading or tweezing your eyebrows make sure all the equipments are clean and sanitized. Avoid too much touching with the fingertips as it will lead to increased oil production. Also, make sure you wash your hands before starting the process.

Because this area is prone to excessive oiliness, consider applying a mask or oil control skin care products.

Eyes

The skin around your eye contours is especially thin and fragile. That is why it is the first place that displays the signs of aging like wrinkles and fine lines. Moreover, the eye contours have to face a variety of other problems like puffiness, under eye dark circles, milia and so on.

Skin Care:

Drink plenty of water. This ensures that your body is properly hydrated and reduces puffiness.

Use eye creams that contain beneficial ingredients that help heal specific skin problems around the eyes.

Use a special eye make-up remover to remove all the particles of eye make-up. Since eye cosmetics contain more stubborn particles, regular cleansers and make-up removers would not be able to remove them efficiently.

Product Suggestions:

Obagi ELASTIderm Day Eye Gel

uses a bi-mineral complex to crosslink elastin fibers and boost collagen production to regain a youthful appearance to your eye contours.

Obagi Nu-Derm Eye Cream

is especially formulated to prevent dryness around the fragile and sensitive skin around the eyes. It is recommended for daily use so that the sensitive area around the eyes can be supplemented with adequate moisture and soothe the skin altogether.

Cheeks

The skin on the cheeks tend to become sensitized in due course of the day. And if you don’t take good care of your face, then your cheeks often have breakouts and broken capillaries.

Skin Care:

Make sure that your cosmetics and make-up products do not contain comedogenic ingredients.

One of the most common reasons of acne breakouts is keeping the phone or mobiles too close to the face. This leads to transfer of bacteria to your face that further leads to breakouts. So make sure, your mobile is clean and wash your face regularly.

Nose & Chin

The forehead and the nose together form the T-zone of your face. So both areas have more or less the same problems. The nose region also suffers from ugly blackheads and whiteheads.

Skin Care:

If you are extracting blackheads at home, be very careful because if you don’t do it efficiently, you might end up damaging the skin tissues and cause broken capillaries.

Use only non-comedogenic make-up and cosmetics

If your skin feels extremely oily, then consider using a strong cleanser or astringent.

Avoid resting your hands on the chin area.

Concrete Floor Paint

Marilynn Syrett asked:

Healthy skin is a natural consequence of cleanliness and hygiene. Yourskin isnot clean until the skin pores are unclogged and rid of all dirt and debris. Clogged skin pores suffocate the skin and promote acne and premature aging. Thus it is very important to keep your skin pores clean and prevent them from getting clogged.

What are Skin Pores?

Skin pores are invisible openings on the skin surface through which the skin breathes. It acts as an inlet for the active ingredients of skin care products to get absorbed and outlet for body fluids like sweat and perspiration. In healthy conditions, the skin pores are neither clogged with dead skin cells nor are they plugged with sebum. It is only because of environmental conditions and external factors that skin pores become clogged with dirt.

Functions of Skin Pores

Outlet for Sweat and Oil – Skin pores are the openings for hair follicles and sweat glands that expel out sweat and sebum particles.

Inlet for Ingredients – Though the skin acts as a shield against external substances, the skin pores allow substances like ingredients of skin care products to penetrate into the body. Substances like retinoids, vitamins and nano-particles enter the skin via skin pores.

Damage of Skin Pores

Skin pores get damaged when they become enlarged. With time, the skin pores get clogged with dirt, debris and excess oil residues. When the size of the contents becomes larger than the pores themselves, then they get stretched and enlarged. Enlarged pores further become whiteheads and blackheads. This condition is particularly common in people with oily or acne prone skin, especially along the nose, chin, forehead and back.

The damage happens because stretched pores are unable to regain their original shape and size in spite of extreme cleansing and conditioning. Therefore, one must aim to prevent the clogging of skin pores.

How to Take Care of Skin Pores?

Wash your Face Regularly

The best way to ensure skin cleanliness is to wash your face regularly. It not only ensures the skin is clear of excess oil residues but also minimizes the risk of skin pores getting clogged with sebum. Use a good cleanser that contains alpha hydroxy acid like glycolic acid or lactic acid. Do this twice a day and usually no more.

Try iS Clinical Cleansing Complex by Innovative Skincare. It is great for resurfacing and deep cleaning the skin. The best thing about the product is that it is anti-acneic and can be used safely on all skin types, even sensitive skin. It is powerful yet doesn’t leave the skin excessively dry. The cleansing complex contains potent antioxidants to fight free radicals.

Extract Blackheads and Whiteheads

Another way to keep your skin pores clear if to manually extract the blackheads and whiteheads. However, if you don’t do it the right way you can end up pushing the bacteria further inside and that could aggravate the situation.

Exfoliate the Skin Regularly

Use a gentle scrub of exfoliating lotion to scrape off dead skin cells from the skin surface. However, take care not to over-exfoliate your skin or your skin becomes excessively dry and irritated. Exfoliate once or twice a week in order to scrub off all dead skin cells and accompanying dirt and debris from the skin surface.

Deep-Cleanse You Skin

Another efficient way to make sure your skin pores are clean and don’t get clogged unnecessarily is by deep cleansing. Use a good cleanser that contains purifying agents and other cleansing ingredients that clean your skin and eliminate all dirt, debris and impurities from within. There are cleansers that gently exfoliate your skin as well and leave it smooth and clear.

Effective cleansing removes blackheads and helps control acne as well. Try using Obagi Nu Derm Foaming Gel. It is a great combination of Aloe Vera, natural herbs and natural cleansers. It rids your skin off all accumulated pollutants and impurities and removes excess oil particles without disturbing the natural moisture levels of the skin. It is suitable for all skin types and leaves the skin silky soft.

Another great cleanser is Obagi C-Cleansing Gel. It conditions the skin gently with Vitamin C and removes all residues of make-up, excessive oil particles and accumulated impurities leaving your skin fresh and clean.

Custom Home Closet Designs

Marilynn Syrett asked:

Skin tautness is a consequence of dry skin. Dry skin is characterized by dry and flaky skin that is itchy and easily irritated. Because dry skin lacks adequate moisture, the skin becomes stretched and tight. The best solution to sooth dry and taut skin is to moisturize it appropriately. With effective moisturization, you can lock the moisture within the skin surface and keep it well-hydrated.

Here are some steps to nourish and moisturize dry skin effectively and relive the tautness.

Use Mild Moisturizing Cleansers

Cleansers are supposed to deep cleanse the skin and remove all the dirt, debris and excessive oil residues from within the skin pores. However, most cleansers contain strong ingredients that along with removing the impurities from the skin surface also end up removing the natural oils from the skin. In turn, the skin becomes dry and taut. Strong cleansers are especially harmful for dry skin because they end up drying the skin further making it more flaky and irritated. Avoid using bar soaps on your face. Soaps contain harsh ingredients and create havoc on dry skin.

Always use a mild cleanser that does not strip off the skin’s natural oils, but gently removes the impurities within the pores. Choose a cleanser that has moisturizing ingredients as well that help nourish dry skin and keep it hydrated. Some of the popular cleansers for dry skin are:

Obagi Nu Derm Foaming Gel – This is a mild moisturizing cleanser that contains a combination of Aloe Vera, natural herbs and natural cleansers. It removes all traces of pollutants and impurities accumulated within the skin pores and removes excess oil without disturbing the natural moisture levels of the skin. Especially suitable for dry skin, Obagi Nu Derm Foaming Gel leaves the skin silky soft.

Obagi C-Cleansing Gel – This is again a gentle cleansing gel that removes all signs of dirt, oil and make-up particles and conditions the skin with Vitamin C and Hydroquinone.

Use Alcohol-Free Toners

The use of toners is a commonly debated issue in the world of skin care. While some feel toners only add an additional unfruitful step to the skin care regimen and are not at all necessary for dry skin, there are others who feel the use of toners is an important step. Toners generally remove the leftover residues from the cleanser and shrink the skin pores. In addition, they also restore the pH balance of the skin and further prevent skin dryness.

One ingredient that cause toners to have a drying effect on the skin is Alcohol. Therefore, for dry skin, use an alcohol-free toner that has a hydrating effect. Choose a mild toner that contains humectants or other moisturizing agents

Obagi Nu-Derm Toner – It is a unique combination of natural ingredients and herbs that tones the skin and restores its normal pH balance. It contains a natural astringent called ‘Alum’ that normalizes the skin’s pH levels and enhances the absorption of active ingredients of other skin care products. Moreover, it accelerates cellular movement and turnover by penetrating deep inside the dermis layer of the skin. With regular use, the toner helps bring new and fresh skin cells on to the surface and the skin becomes smooth and wrinkle free. There is also a significant reduction in the appearance of age spots and freckles.

Moisturize Intensively

The best and obvious treatment for dry skin is Moisturization. So make sure you moisturize your skin intensively in order to maintain proper hydration levels. Moisturizers retain water within the skin surface and provide a temporary barrier against evaporation. However, try to avoid moisturizers that contain heavy fragrances and preservatives that may irritate the skin and cause itchiness. The best time to apply moisturizers is after cleansing, when the skin is still moist. This is because wet skin absorbs moisturizers better and help lock in the moisture.

Choose a moisturizer that contains emollients, substances that help to soften the skin and prevent dryness. Emollients increases the skin’s ability to retain water and forms a protective layer of oil to prevent water loss and to lubricate the skin. Lactic acid and petroleum are popular emollients that work wonders on the skin. Also look for humectants like glycerin and hyaluronic acid. Humectants attract moisture into the skin from the atmosphere.

Kinerase Cream: This is an anti-aging cream that improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and increases the skin’s capacity to retain moisture. Kinerase cream contains Kinetin, a plant based agent that helps the skin retain moisture.

Wholesale Scented Candles

Have Compassion asked:

I started getting acne when I was about 13, 14 years old. I’m now 17 and over the years I’ve been given numerous medication such as Retin-A Micro, Benacyclin, Tetrycyclin, some pills that I cannot remember the name of, and also some pads called Tazorac or something like that. The Benacyclin helped a little with stopping breakouts but, it didn’t help my scarring. My dermatologist mentioned Accutane as a suitable treatment for me but, I didn’t want that because I’ve heard it doesn’t get rid of scarring. I went a few weeks ago and had microdermabrasion done and I’ve been on a 3 step system called Obagi for a month now but, I don’t really see any results. I am supposed to have about 5 more microdermabrasion sessions and they said maybe a chemical peel. My question is: Should I go on Accutane or continue the microdermabrasion? I want to keep my acne under control but, get RID of scars too; home remedies do not work for me.

Outdoor Solar Lighting
