What should I do? Please answer?
July 16th, 2010 | by admin |Have Compassion asked:
I started getting acne when I was about 13, 14 years old. I’m now 17 and over the years I’ve been given numerous medication such as Retin-A Micro, Benacyclin, Tetrycyclin, some pills that I cannot remember the name of, and also some pads called Tazorac or something like that. The Benacyclin helped a little with stopping breakouts but, it didn’t help my scarring. My dermatologist mentioned Accutane as a suitable treatment for me but, I didn’t want that because I’ve heard it doesn’t get rid of scarring. I went to a few weeks ago and had microdermabrasion done and I’ve been on a 3 step system called Obagi but, I don’t see any results. I am supposed to have about 5 more microdermabrasion sessions and they said maybe a chemical peel. My question is: Should I go on Accutane or continue the microdermabrasion? I want to keep my acne under control but, get RID of scars too; home remedies do not work for me.

definately DONT GO ON ACCUTANE,,, most likely if retan A didnt work then accutane wont…pls its tough on your skins…(makes it REALLy red & dry)
DEFINATELY do chemical peels! there better then microdermabracion! chemical pees burn but theyy really help acne!
ive herd accutane leads to like suicide aswell? hah im not so sure about that though
