Do I need to use SPF while using Obagi Nu Derm?

I am four weeks in to the Obagi Nu derm course of treatment, and I wondered if I have to use SPF even when I don’t go outside? When I was prescribed this treatment, the doctor said that I should use SPF regardless. But the nurse told me to only use it when I go outside, as using it inside will only hinder the exfoiliation process unecessarily. What should I do? Also, I get a very oily t-zone and so far have experienced no peeling on my nose or forehead - should I be concerned about that? Thanks.
