Hydroquinone/skin lightening/Obagi Nu Derm Results?

My mom told me to useObagi Nu Derm sking lightening cream for discoloration my cheeks b/c of acne. It has 4% hydroquinone in it, she said its going to take 6 to 8 weeks till i see some improvement and it could get worse first before it gets better. Has anyone else used hydroquinone or obagi products? How long till u saw some improvement and results?? Thanks. I need to be clear by 4 weeks for an event, will there be any change?

      For while but had excellent results they say you can continue using it anyway for bad sunburn the peel was like bad.
      The peel like bad sunburn put hydrocortisone lotion from docs office on it anyway for lasting results they say you can continue using it 2x daily.
      For while but did it took about month as this is 28 days by monday good as this is 28 days had blue peel layers done peel was like real bad.
